From pumpkin patches and hayrides to trunk-or-treating and corn shucking contests, there are plenty of great options for family-friendly "falltivities" in the Tampa Bay area this year.

Seminole Heights Methodist Church Great Pumpkin Patch

The Great Pumpkin Patch features one of the largest collections and varieties of pumpkins in Tampa. This monthly event features something for everyone, including movie nights every Friday, Pumpkin Jumpin' (inflatables) day, story time readings, and Pumpkins and Pints for the adults.

Sweetfield Farms Fall Maze and Pumpkin Patch

$11.95 plus tax in advance, $14 at the door, kids two years and under free
Journey through Sweetfield Farms’ winding corn maze, which features more than five acres of clues and challenges to navigate through. Additional fall season activities include a hay play area, tumbleweed rollers, a mini maze, face painting, food vendors and an expansive pumpkin patch. Get your tickets in advance online – they sell out.

Watermelon Swim Pumpkin Patch and Fall Festival

Locations in Lutz, South Tampa, Wesley Chapel and Riverview
Daily Oct. 8-31
Stop by any one of Watermelon Swim’s four locations this fall season to pick your perfect pumpkin. The Lutz and South Tampa locations celebrate fall with trunk-or-treating, fall games, food trucks, a bounce house and pumpkin painting at a one-day-only free Fall Festival Oct. 15, 4-7 p.m.
