Since his days with Umbrella Corporation, Aych has been a fixture on Seventh Avenue. And for the last 17 years, his monthly cypher has played incubator for anyone who wants to make it in Tampa’s hip-hop scene.
Da Cypher celebrated its anniversary last night at Crowbar in Ybor City, along with acts like Aych himself, BeSelfliss, Fine$$e The Poet, Johnny K, Kaiii Marie, Keezie Free, Kush Widakae, and Milli Moon.
What's more is that the next year will see the end of Da Cypher, which is calling it quits next June. "18 Years was a hell of a run," Aych wrote on social media. "Thank yall for all the love, and dedication."
