Even if you’re a Ronnie James Dio ride-or-die that swears Rainbow was nothing without him, the band’s biggest hit “Since You Been Gone” (the supergroup’s first single with English singer Graham Bonnet at the helm) undoubtedly had the potential to knock Richie Blackmore’s post-Deep Purple baby into mainstream.

Bonnet walked away from the band the year after the song’s accompanying album Down To Earth released, but the 76-year-old was still supposed to perform most of it in Largo on Friday.

Due to "potential storm impacts," Central Park Performing Arts Center announced that this show (which Thin Lizzy alum Marco Mendoza was set to open) has been postponed.

A new date is scheduled to be announced next week, and patrons are encouraged to hold onto their tickets.
