Tinder analytics would probably reveal that Water Street Tampa is something of a pound town, but Sexyy Red wants to provide the soundtrack this week.

On this "Sexyy Red 4 President" tour, the 26-year-old St. Louis rapper and brings that breakout, 2023 single for a show that includes Trump-pardoned rapper Kodak Black (real name Bill K. Kapri) and North Carolina emcee Hunxho who was just in the Bay area over the summer.

Red—real name Janae Nierah Wherry—found herself in headlines last year when she shared her support for Donald Trump, and she'll have some Trump train company on this bill thanks Kodak Black who's long been a supporter of the former president, even after debunked claims he made about Haitian immigrants eating cats in Springfield, Ohio.

The Florida rapper of Haitian descent recently played Trump's claim over the PA at a concert and questioned the authenticity of the claims before reminding his crowd, "I’m a muthafucking Trump supporter.”

Tickets to see Sexyy Red play Amalie Arena in Tampa on Wednesday, Sept. 25 are still available and start at $45.75. Readers are invited to submit their own events to Creative Loafing Tampa Bay’s things to do calendar.
