Attention everyone with a brown, dead, backyard—plants don’t have to die in the summertime (just look at that lantana!). For one day only, experts, including more than 30 commercial growers and local clubs from throughout the state, will prove it at University of South Florida’s Botanical Gardens during the school’s summer plant festival.

Members get free and early entry at 8:30 a.m., and admission is also free for USF students, faculty and staff (with ID), and anyone under 12 years old.

USF's Summer Plant Festival happens at the Tampa campus' botanical gardens on Saturday, June 15 and costs $10.
