DJ Khaled is up to something food-related in Tampa. Ahead of the hip-hop producer and positive vibe spreader’s Amalie Arena concert with Demi Lovato on Saturday, Weight Watchers has blessed an undisclosed location with Khaled’s Kitchen, a free event that begins at 5 p.m.
Billed as a “one-of-a-kind, immersive food truck experience,” the pop-up kitchen is following Khaled on tour, showcasing some of his favorite recipes. The dishes are part of the young Weight Watchers Freestyle program, but they’re also inspired by Khaled’s personal chef Melissa Zuniga and meant to promote healthier on-the-go eating habits.
Live music and other surprises accompany the food samples, and guests must RSVP online to get the kitchen’s anticipated venue emailed to their inboxes the day of. The social media accounts of Khaled and Weight Watchers will also make an announcement prior to the event.
Nope, they don’t want you to know the venue ahead of time. But what? You don’t like surprises? Well, by the looks of it, the map featured on the RSVP page has a location pinned. Fun-ruiners should investigate further.
