The Dallas Bull might be a little empty early Saturday night, since country singer-songwriter Morgan Wallen heads to town for his impressively-sold out Tampa gig. The 29 year-old heartthrob was featured on season 6 of “The Voice” and hasn’t stopped garnering popularity among country fans and mullet-lovers since.

That's all in spite of a February 2021 incident where TMZ published video of him using the N-word during a conversation with a friend dropping him off at home after a night out. In the aftermath, Wallen apologized, his country music peers both condemned and defended him, labels dropped him, and the Academy of Country (ACM) Awards declared him ineligible.

But as Billboard points out, that didn't stop his album Dangerous from climbing charts and festivals like Tortuga, Faster Horses, and Watershed from booking him as a headliner. The ACM Awards even took Wallen back and gave Dangerous album of the year.

Tickets for Morgan Wallen's "One Night At A Time World Tour" in Tampa on Saturday, May 6 at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre are still available and start at $49.75.
