South Carolina surf-rock band Easy Honey blows into Tampa this weekend

And the boys actually surf.

Most bands leave a mark on the cities they visit on tour, but Easy Honey takes it a step further. The surf-rock outfit with members who actually surf regularly picks up trash bags on tour and joins local cleanup efforts.

The South Carolina quartet arrives in support of a new album, Cupidity Unlimited, a snackable, 42-minute outing full of sunny and head-bobbing pop-rock.

Tickets to see Easy Honey play Hooch and Hive in Tampa on Friday, Sept. 20 are still available and start at $12. Readers are invited to submit their own events to Creative Loafing Tampa Bay’s things to do calendar.
