Original Cunningham Wake drummer Mike Gundel passed in 2022, and Unkempt’s Daniel Creekmore has been banging the cans in his place.

This Tampa metal supergroup featuring members of A Broken Machine and St. Valentines Massacre headlines a stacked show with tracks from its upcoming album MG91922 and most likely a few cuts from the Gundel days we long to relive. Don’t skip out on the openers, either. The Dood—a metal outfit based out of Sarasota—just staged a wild release party for its new, shred-heavy album Dissonance at a warehouse last weekend.

Tickets to see Cunningham Wake play Bradenton's Oscura on Friday, Sept. 27 are still available and cost $8.
