Atlanta rapper Lil Baby is having a big year, and he’s bringing his successes—along with Lil Durk—to Tampa Bay on Oct. 14 for a show at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre.
The 26-year-old Lil Baby just performed with Kirk Franklin to open the BET Awards and might as well hold the honor of being the centerpiece of the most poignant moment at the Grammys this year, too.
Lil Baby’s performance of “The Bigger Picture” was absolutely torturous and devastating, in the most beautiful way. It opened with a depiction of the whole cause of the Black Lives Matter movement, and later, included activists demanding President Joe Biden bring them “justice, equity, policy, and everything else that freedom encompasses.” If you attended any of those marches last summer, the performance probably hit you much differently than those who didn’t attend anything.
If Lil Baby made a hell of an impression on you, be it before or after the Grammys, you have a chance to see him live with his friend Lil Durk—who just co-starred on an album with the “Drip Too Hard” rapper.
The only other Florida stop for Baby and Durk’s “Back Outside” tour is on Oct. 15 in West Palm Beach, but Durk, Lil Baby and Moneybagg Yo are at Orlando’s Amway Center on Aug. 13.
