Kirk Franklin is a bonafide pioneer of gospel music, but lately, the 19-time-Grammy-winner has made way for artists he calls “the future” (Maverick City Music, which plays Tampa on Halloween among them).

The 54-year-old recently made a Grammy-winning album with that group during a 2022 visit to the Everglades Correctional Institution in Miami, and he continues to look outside of himself for this “Reunion” tour alongside gospel music icons Yolanda Adams, Fred Hammond, Marvin Sapp, and The Clark Sisters and Kierra Sheard-Kell.

Tickets to see Kirk Franklin play Tampa's Amalie Arena on Thursday, Oct. 10 are still available and start at $45.25.
