In honor of Incubus’ best-selling album Morning View turning 23 this October, the record was given the rerecording treatment last May.

And after prog-rock outfit Coheed and Cambria (which we hope with bated breath is working on the traditional comic book counterpart to its latest album Vaxis – Act II: A Window of the Waking Mind) plays opener at Tampa's old Ice Palace on Tuesday, Brandon Boyd and friends will play the entire album cover to cover, followed by a set of obligatory greatest hits.

Ahead of the show, Boyd told Creative Loafing Tampa about how Leonard Cohen put on the greatest concert he ever saw in California, a few years before his death.
One of the most impactful concert experiences I’ve had was watching Leonard Cohen performing in the desert here in California. It was my first time seeing him after being a fan for so long, and it was likely the last tour he did before he passed. I just recall being in awe at how this man in his eighties could exhibit such an effortless swagger alongside such poetry. –Brandon Boyd, Incubus
Tickets to see Incubus with Coheed and Cambria play Tampa's Amalie Arena on Tuesday, Sept. 3 are still available and start at a whopping $16.26.
