Australians continue to make their presence felt in Tampa Bay’s live music scene, this time at the hands of Zheani Isobel Sparkes, who makes metal-inspired “fairy trap” music for the masses.

A summer single, “Sex Never Dies,” could fit into a playlist at Ybor City’s Castle nightclub which is just down the street from this stop on Zheani’s super-sweaty, skin-filled “Maenad” tour.

Tickets to see Zheani play Crowbar in Ybor City on Saturday, Oct. 5 are still available for $25. Readers are invited to submit their own events to Creative Loafing Tampa Bay’s things to do calendar.
