After the wrath of Hurricane Helene, perhaps St. Pete is due for some e-funk. The Floozies, made up of brothers Matt and Mark Hill, took up guitar and drums respectively in grade school, and currently take after the likes of Lettuce and Chris Cornell. They just packed out Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheater with whimsy electronica vibes, as seen on their latest EP House Party, Volume One.—Josh Bradley
