Judy Vienneau's exhibition, ‘Existential Crisis-Abstractions with Wire’ represents inner conflict, accompanied by anxiety and stress in the form of emotional pain, despair, helplessness, guilt and loneliness. Her latest works not only express these negative emotions but offer a glimpse of a solution and positive resolve. They are abstract and loosely representational, with the addition of woven wire to depict intermingled emotions as well as a mending of the soul. The exhibition is on view through October, and a reception will be in conjunction with the Grand Opening Celebration of GCAA Educational Center/Artists-in-Residence gallery and studios.
