If you’re the kind of person who seethes at the sight of litter on the beach after a holiday weekend, well, here’s a chance to do something about it.

The Sustany Foundation—a nonprofit that “facilitates the exchange of ideas and resources to individuals and organizations committed to economic, environmental, and social responsibility”—invites beach lovers to bring their rakes out, not to beat litterbugs over the head, but to help in a cleanup on Treasure Island.

The first 20 people to sign up will get parking passes for the lot across from the Waffle House, and the group is headed to Sloppy Joe’s afterwards for some drinks and socializing.

Registration is request for "Trash Talk with a Side of Green Drinks" happening Sunday, July 7 on Treasure Island.
