Fashion and accessory designers from all over the Tampa Bay area are coming together to showcase their latest work to local business partners, aspiring models and community members. Local businesses and organizations like the International Plaza, The Dalí Museum and more, sponsor the event.
The four-day event begins with a kickoff show at the Tampa International Airport on Wednesday, Sept. 18, where attendees are introduced to the 2024 designers and sponsors and can shop limited-time collections.
To round off the event, there will also be a giveaway during the Wednesday celebration to reward one attendee with $2,500 in Delta gift cards. Free food and drinks will also be provided; entry is free, but RSVP is required.
The runway show takes place on Sept. 20, with the featured designers will debut their 2024 collections. Doors open at 6 p.m., and tickets start at $75. Attendees are also asked to bring new beauty supplies and toiletries to be donated to My FairyGodfathers Foundation.
On the event's final day, TBFW hosts workshops and talks regarding the fashion industry, featuring Karen D. Fultz-Robinson, the designer of Observame, and Aanya Patel, founder of Global Girls Initiative. Attendance at this event is free.
TBFW began in 2007 and has been showcasing the work of local Tampa Bay designers ever since.
