Owned by Norwegian Cruise Lines, Oceania will offer a variety of 7-20 night itineraries to locations like St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Tortola, Cozumel, Costa Maya, Belize City and more, through the 670-guest "Insignia" ship.
"We look forward to welcoming new guests to our beautiful city and gateway, as the increased tourism will create substantial economic opportunities for our region, workers, and businesses," said Paul Anderson, President and CEO of Port Tampa Bay. With 400 crew members aboard the ship, guests can experience various food and beverage offerings, (including an American steakhouse and an Italian concept), as well as a variety of amenities such as unlimited wifi, a gaming floor, shuffle board, spa and fitness classes, a library, room service, and more.
Despite Port Tampa Bay's revenue halt during the 2020 pandemic, it reported its third-highest revenue year in 2023, partly because cruise lines contribute to 20% of the port's revenue.
