We're currently halfway to Christmas and since Halloween is just a few months away Busch Gardens is just gonna go ahead and celebrate them both with a one-day-only holiday mashup called "Scary and Merry."

This Thursday, July 25, the park offers guests a lights-on tour of the Stranglewood Estate haunted house from its annual Howl-O-Scream event, as well as the chance to  meet Santa over at the Serengeti Overlook.

Scary and Merry will take place from noon-4 p.m. and is included with regular admission.

The park's popular Christmas Town is still a ways off, but Howl-O-Scream is right around the corner,  from Sept. 6-Nov. 2. Tickets are currently available and on sale for up to 70% off.

In other BG news, earlier this week the new family-friendly coast Phoenix Rising made its official debut over in the Pantopia area of the park. Plus, free beer is still pouring for guest 21-and-over at the Orange Café in the Jungala area.
