Davis Island’s Bayou Bodega celebrates Puerto Rico with Bomba in the Bayou on Saturday night, providing a feast for the eyes, ears, and stomach.
Local six-piece bomba ensemble Barriplé provides traditional music, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., mixing dancing, percussion, and vocals originating from the island’s African slave ancestors. Food specials include lechón asado, camarón criollo, and crema catalana for dessert.
