All the rocks—glam, punk and, of course, ‘n’ roll—are on the bill this weekend at the oldest VFW in the Southeast when it hosts an outdoor show with dive bar vibes. Even though it’s outside, I’d still bring some headphones–things are going to get loud. Even listening at home, Gino and the Goons makes me want to crank its Stooges-style garage-punk.

Though it’s a free show, buy a drink, buy some merch, tip like you’d want to be tipped and wear a mask.

Hopefest: Human Error w/Gino and the Goons/Jack Jagger/Boney Fiend/Fear The Spider/Boys Entrance. Saturday, May 8, 6 p.m. No cover. VFW Post 39, St. Petersburg. INFO
