South Tampa’s Olivia is now open for brunch service

You can also grab dinner there any day of the week.

We’ve been celebrating concepts that are reopening after a stormy seven months since COVID brought the booming Tampa Bay restaurant scene to a grinding halt. Now that regulations are slowly lifting, restos are acclimating back to the new climate and some are even back to brunching.

Italian cuisine concept, Olivia (stylized “OLIVIA”), has added its name back to the list of local brunch destinations.

If your memory is a little hazy, Olivia’s weekend brunch offerings are stacked with sweet and savory eats like orange blossom pancakes, Maine lobster omelets and Calabrian chicken and waffle made with speck ham, fried eggs, soppressata gravy and rosemary honey maple. 

Leaning more toward carbs? The restaurant is also serving up specialty ‘zas that can be topped with two farm fresh eggs upon request, and a slew of pasta options. Salads, antipasti, and light bites like yogurt and granola and fresh-baked croissants are also on the menu. Whether you’re going low or high brow, there are plates for any appetite. 

Wouldn’t be brunch without booze. You can choose from a selection of seasonal cocktails, brews, vino, or a classic mimosa from Olivia’s full bar.

Brunch service is from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. If you can’t make it for brunch bites, Olivia is also offering dinner service 5-9 p.m. Sunday and Monday, and 5-10 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.
