UPDATE: Aerosmith postpones Florida dates -- CONFIRMED. For real this time.

After two confusing Tweets from Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry -- one alerting fans to the re-scheduling of Aerosmith's Florida dates, the next saying the show could potentially still take place -- I finally received word that the show has indeed been postponed.
Here's the official Ford Amp statement:
(July 10, 2009) Aerosmith has postponed their scheduled show for July 11th at the Ford Amphitheatre in Tampa, FL due to an artist injury. A rescheduled date will be announced soon. Tickets purchased for the Ford Amphitheatre concert will be honored at the rescheduled date. For additional tour and ticket information, please visit www.livenation.com or www.aeroforceone.com.

according to the amp (i checked this am) the show is still on. please update the title of the blog
sounds kinda fishy to me. i can kinda understand that he's worried about his stage performance because he is rather physical, but he's a singer (?). if he wanted these dates to happen he would do without the leg kicks and crap and just sing the songs. believe me, were not expecting much anymore, these guys are pushing 60, just the fact that they are still playing together is a friggin' miracle.
A bit Thank YOu goes out to Joe for helping out in the clean up our reefs in Sarasota this past week end. The cleanup and the after-party helped raise money that will benefit Mote's Center for Coral Research!!
