David Byrne to play Tampa Theatre

Former Talking Head David Byrne is touring in support of his mostly critically acclaimed new disc Everything That Happens Will Happen Today, which he recorded with old pal Brian Eno. Click here for more info on the album.

I wonder if he'll cover "Opps I did it again". On a side note, tickets went on pre-sale October 3rd. That's right, weeks ago! I couldn't find anyone who even knew he was coming until last week, and I know some real heady folks (I'm sure you surmised...)

From what I've read, the Byrne show is excellent - dancing, costume changes - and even playing Crosseyed & Painless.. I'll be at Avett Brothers and Thao Nguyen next Thurs and Fri..
