Rod Stewart to play Tampa Aug. 28

Hasn't he punished us enough with all those Great American Songbook discs? Seriously, has another rocker betrayed his talent more than Stewart? And, yes, Stewart was a great talent from about 1969-1975. Anyway, here's the press release:
TAMPA – MAY 27, 2008 -- Rod Stewart has confirmed plans to bring his 2008 North American Summer Tour to Ford Amphitheatre in Tampa on Thursday, August 28th. Winding its way through some of the most scenic amphitheatres in North America, the tour will provide fans with the perfect summer setting to enjoy hits from throughout Stewart’s extraordinary four decade-long career.Tickets will go on-sale Saturday, May 31st, 10AM. They are $85.00 and $55.00 for reserved seats, $35.00 for the Festival Lawn and can be purchased at Ford Amphitheatre Box Office, www.livenation.com and all TicketMaster outlets (including FYE and Spec’s Music) or charge-by-phone: Tampa, (813) 287-8844; St Pete, (727) 898-2100; and Central FL, (407) 839-3900. There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game.
