Daughter of Hulk, pop singer and Tampa native Brooke Hogan gets in a fender-bender Sunday on the Bayside Bridge; makes headlines across the web.

(Apparently the Hogan clan is also big in Ireland; an Emerald Isle publication ran the story, but got it wrong, reporting Brooke and her pro wrestling papa were both involved.)

Here's the TBO.com story, which has garnered scads of comments, with my favorite being:

I have to laugh at the commenters who take the time to post negative things about stories that TBO runs. However, at the same time, they must be interested in it as they read the story and commented on it. Everyone has a handy little device called a mouse. If you see a story that you are not interested in then use the mouse to click on another one instead of the one your are so not interested. You have freedom of choice but yet you choose to read the story and comment on it only to complain that it was run...

There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game.
