I can't read the police at bonnaroo article, because the fascists at the NY times won't my money first. Why can't all publications be like the great FREE CL? Anyway, much like the NYT who probably published a second hand account... From my reading of the newsgroups that deal with such things, I hear the police were lame. They gave a standard performance, and exited with almost an hour left of their scheduled timeslot. And they didn't even play Miss. Gradenko!

Perhaps this is sacrilege but I'm not that amped about The Police coming to Tampa. I would be about a thousand times more excited, if, say, Talking Heads got back together for a reunion tour. Hell, I'd actually pay good money to see that show.
Hmmm...the Police vs. Talking Heads This could be the new Elvis vs. The Beatles, or Zeppelin vs. The Stones. I would take the talking heads over any competitors. And if they got back together, I would be seen trailing behind the bus, from city to city.
