The Clearwater Marine Aquarium has set up an exhibit devoted to the locally shot Dolphin Tale at The Harborview Center, perched on one of Tampa Bay's most scenic bluffs (if you grew up in the area, you might remember it as the site of the old Maas Brothers). The new Clearwater Marine Aquarium exhibit with multimedia and children activities occupies the 55,000-square-foot second floor space of the city-owned facility and includes a movie prop and set tour. Oh, and in case you were tied up in a barn or otherwise out of circulation, Dolphin Tale is a heartwarming but loosely-based-on-truth account of the real-life rescue of an injured dolphin, who now resides at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium near Clearwater Beach. The film released in September 2011 to mixed reviews and has an impressive cast — Ashley Judd, Harry Connick Jr., Kris Kristofferson and Morgan Freeman. Anyway, Winter will not be swimming in a pool at the new exhibit. She's staying put at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. However, you still can see Winter and set aside some time for her exhibit by hopping on the free, open-air Jolley Trolley that shuttles visitors between locations.
