If you're going to experience more than 250 beers and beverages from all around the world, your friends may ask: Sure, but why didn't you do it at the zoo? Since that's a valid question, Lowry Park Zoo's, WaZoo takes all the pain and awkwardness out of having to answer that particular inquest. The 17th annual fund-raising event brings its “tropical taste explosion” to town this week, with lots of great food, and local music. All of that adds up to an amazing night, which USA Today calls one of the “10 Great Beer Festivals in the Country”. One Mile Final & Early Morning Project will be rocking the World of Beer Main Stage, and The Hawks, The Paper Stanleys, and Mainstream Band will be on hand as well. However, the main event will be the amazing beers and drinks to be had, all of which raises funds for Lowry Park Zoo, one of the jewels of Tampa Bay. Both General Admission, and VIP tickets are available now, the latter of which grants Zoo-Venturous guests access to an air conditioned seating area, and exclusive beer and restaurant tastings.
