When: Dec. 13-23, 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Dec. 26-29, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sun., Dec. 30, 12-5 p.m. 2012
Get in the holiday mood at a picturesque, historic Tampa landmark, where old-fashioned holiday splendor takes you back to the quaint scenes of boxed Christmas greeting cards. The Victorian Christmas Stroll at University of Tampa’s Henry B. Plant Museum is a beloved local tradition, and its run has been extended if you missed it. This year it includes a special exhibit of toys from the 1890s to 1930s, and you can once again meander through 14 exhibit rooms that display decorated trees designed in 19th century themes with antique decorations. Where’s Henry? — a game for kids — allows kids to look for photos of the museum’s namesake and founder of the hotel that later transformed into UT. Spiced cider and cookies add to the festive mood. —Julie Garisto
