Talk about a quadruple threat — history, mystery, sci-fi and musical theater rolled into one. That’s what’s in store when the usually top-notch American Stage gets ahold of a play that follows three legendary women who were also famous for their early 20th-century disappearances. Each actress plays 6 -7 characters. Wait, that’s not all. We get to know the central characters while traveling on a road trip — through time and space. Lauren L. Wood stars as Agatha Christie, Victoria Adams-Zischke as Amelia Earhart and Kathleen Brooke Davis as Aimee Semple McPherson — a cast of three, but the actresses play multiple parts (each other’s mothers, husbands, reporters, fans, etc.). Kara-Lynn Vaeni directs.
