For 46 years, the USF Graphicstudio has had a substantial presence in the contemporary art world. Located on campus, the print workshop has hosted work from some of the most renowned artists of the 20th century. Graphicstudio: Uncommon Practice at USF, a collaboration between USF Contemporary Art Museum and the Tampa Museum of Art, will feature 100 works by 45 artists. The exhibition will stress the importance of the relationship between Tampa and the international art world, and feature work by Robert Rauschenberg, Jim Rosenquist, Ed Ruscha, Allan McCollum, Louise Bourgeois, Jim Dine, Christian Marclay, Mark Dion, Teresita Fernández, Los Carpinteros, and Trenton Doyle Hancock. Collectively, it will span generations, concepts and techniques. The exhibition will run through May 18.
