No more staff complaints allowed at the Refinery. The kitchen and waitstaff will know what it's like to work on the other side, and you get to witness the spectacle — and help a great non-profit. For Trading Places, the eclectic and highly touted restaurant's kitchen crew will switch with the waitstaff for one night. Co-owner Michelle Baker and the waitstaff will be prepping, dicing, washing and cooking the night's special menu while Chef Greg Baker (2010 CL Best of the Bay winner) and the kitchen crew will be serving, bartending, hostessing, and busing. It's the first charity event of hopefully several to come from the Seminole Heights eatery of choice — and Beard honoree — with all proceeds (including tips) going to The Harvest of Hope Foundation, which provides emergency monetary aid to Florida migrant farm workers. Greg and Michelle say they guarantee a hilarious time and a great meal. We don't doubt either one. —Julie Garisto
