The Creative Works by the Red Apple School Students

When: Aug. 21-Sept. 25 2014
PHSC's first art exhibit of the new season, The Creative Works, bears the fruits of The Red Apple School’s mission to educate and nurture developmentally disabled adults. Pasco-Hernando State College’s Rao Musunuru, M.D. Art Gallery will display artwork from students of The Red Apple School in its upcoming exhibit. An opening reception, sponsored by the PHSC Student Government Association, will be held on Thurs., Aug. 21, from 5 to 7 p.m., and the exhibit runs through Sept. 25. Gallery visitors will experience first-hand the result of the student’s artistic exploration as they overcome physical challenges independently and with hand-over-hand assistance. The Rao Musunuru, M.D. Art Gallery is located in the Alric C.T. Pottberg Library on the West Campus in New Port Richey, 10230 Ridge Road. Art gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. Art exhibits are free and open to the public.
