This year’s festival once again promotes diversity and cultural sensitivity with a 10-day series that includes a Living History Art Exhibit, featuring pioneer civil rights leaders Harry and Harriette Moore; annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade; a special film screening; empowerment seminars; and more. The two day street festival is the centerpiece of the Heritage Festival featuring Old School Saturday — with musical entertainment from Klymaxx and Gospel-Jazz Sunday with saxophonist Eric Darius.
