Not only do we have the largest jumbotron in North America — we like to refer it as the humungotron — but we also have the tallest goaltender in Bolts history, Anders Lindback. Although, Mathieu Garon is back, Lindback, who towers over the other players at 6-foot-6, is said to be a key element in the Lightning’s success. A host of new players join seasoned veterans like Vinny Lecavalier, Marty St. Louis, the league’s leading goal scorer Steven Stamkos. Prospects turned bleak before coach Guy Boucher’s firing, with Jon Cooper in charge, the Lightning are focused on a playoff spot next season. A few games are left this season. On Wed, April 24,
the Bolts take on the Toronto Maple Leafs,
Thu., April 25, at 7 p.m., and then they leave for Boston, game 7:30 p.m. on Sat., Apr 27, and return home to go up against Florida on Sun., April 28, at 7 p.m. Marty St. Louis Fundraising Night is Sat. (Text contributed by Nicole Abbett)
