Special Events: Pioneer Florida Days Festival

If you're not satisfied with simply kicking back and enjoying a beer this Labor Day and feel up to a drive to Dade City, we suggest paying a visit to the 34th Annual Pioneer Florida Days Festival. Highlights of the annual fest include a "Daughters of the Confederacy" fashion show of 1860s styles (11 a.m.), a mock court martial trial (12:30 p.m.), Civil War re-enactments (2:30 p.m.), an arts and crafts show, a trash 'n' treasures sale, traditional craft demos, living history demos, traditional Florida folk music, a Florida native plant sale, classic-car exhibits, children's activities and much more.
