Decades before Ryan Gosling said, "Hey girl," Paul Newman batted his deep blues, and long before Megan Fox pouted on the cover of Maxim, Liz Taylor taught us what a sultry brunette is about. Sunday afternoons will sizzle with more such classic sexy icons through March 17 as the Sex Symbols of the Silver Screen spice things up at Tampa Theatre. The theater presents eight classic movies through March 17, To Catch A Thief starring the elegant Grace Kelly and super-suave Cary Grant will be featured on March 3, 3 p.m. On March 10, It, the silent film that earned Clara Bow the title of the original “it” girl, will be shown with live accompaniment by Dr. Steven Ball on the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ (admission is $12 for adults and $10 for students for the special presentation). The sweet Euro adventure Roman Holiday starring the exquisite Audrey Hepburn and uber-handsome Gregory Peck, closes the series out 3 p.m. Sun., March 17. —Julie Garisto
