Gain enlightenment, inspiration and be entertained by local students performing tributes and keynote speaker Rev. James V. Williams of Mt. Olive African Methodist Episcopal Church on Feb. 9 at the Safety Harbor Museum and Cultural Center. Light refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be provided by the Safety Harbor African American Alliance. Also at the museum, Mildred Wilson, widow of Staff Sgt. Elmer Wilson of the Tuskegee Airmen, will share stories and photographs on Tue., Feb. 12. After, visit The City Gallery at Safety Harbor City Hall (750 Main St.), which will be featuring African American art all month.
