You can find the Creative Loafing Street Team out at concerts, art, food and sporting events doing what they do best - making a scene and giving away free shit. And if you're lucky, they'll take your picture.
Lauren:
If you live in St. Pete, you may see Lauren cruising around town on her bicycle. She is currently going to school
for Psychology, and will study as a Mental Health Counselor specializing in Alternative Medicine. In addition,
Lauren is about to start a yoga teacher training course to coincide with her studies to help her counseling patients.
She also has a tremendous passion for acting as well as singing. She loves to have fun and live life to the fullest.
Her favorite CL spots and events are Downtown St.Pete, Tropical Heatwave featuring 88.5, and other music/art festivals!
Jeanine:
Born wild and untamed Jeanine is an adventurous, curious, and fiery energy to be around. She loves animals,
particularly wolves, and dreams of opening a wolf sanctuary one day. A few of her favorite things are live music,
the outdoors, doing handstands, and whiskey. A former champion synchronized swimmer, Jeanine is a Florida girl
with a passion for sunshine, summertime, and cold brews. You can’t cage this girl.
Sam:
Sam is an Ybor socialite that always knows how to have fun and make the best out of any situation.
Currently attending the University of South Florida for electrical engineering with a focus on digital
signal processing and digital communications. A Street Team veteran, Sam is quite knowledgeable
when it comes to the paper and is always happy to answer any questions or give awkward hugs!
Shay:
Shay is a proud Batman aficionado, a cat video fanatic, an award-winning coffee drinker,
a typical bacon advocate, an art stuff creator, and an accredited film geek. Shay is a military
brat who grew up in Tampa, but lived in Japan for 3 years. She graduated from Full Sail University
with a Film degree. In her spare time she loves to paint and draw on things under Happy Brain Design
and work comic conventions around Florida. Her favorite event in Tampa Bay is Next Big Thing!
Jordan:
Jordan grew up in Chicago, spending summers in Tampa, eventually moving here in high school.
She is a USF undergraduate majoring in public relations and a founding member of the Eta Eta
chapter of Gamma Phi Beta. A self-proclaimed cat person, though she would never admit it in
front of a dog, Jordan loves live music, arts and crafts, and sports. She can be found bouncing
around Tampa/St. Pete and enjoys traveling but hopes to always call the area home!
Brittany:
Brittany is a native Tampanian who loves the city and all it has to offer.
There is nowhere else she would rather live. She is a 2012 FSU graduate and
her time in Tallahassee reaffirmed her love for her homeland. Brittany delights
in sunny days on Indian Rocks Beach with a real drink in hand; Jameson on the
rocks to be exact. When she’s not Street Teaming it up, she can often be found there
sampling some of the best seafood ever. Brittany loves meeting new people, so
if you see her at an event, don’t be afraid to say hi.
Marleigh:
A Mass communications student at St. Petersburg College, Marleigh is an internet search
engine enthusiast who loves really annoying girl-power music. Her favorite events are
Third Saturday at Cold Storage Brewery, as well as anything outdoors and Eco-friendly
with food trucks, live music, and arts and crafts. She is a HUGE supporter of local music
and businesses. Marleigh loves the CL Street Team because it allows her to be surrounded
by positive, enthusiastic people who will never pass up an opportunity for a high five!
Kayla:
Kayla is a Tampa native who loves to be on the boat and hittin up the beach.
As a recent USF grad, she spends her spare time finding cool new places to eat
and the best dive bars in town. As a Communication major, she loves going to CL
events to mingle with the team and the crowds of people who attend.
