No, he won't be playing sax — at least not that we were told. He's just going to talk about the effects of globalization and his experiences dealing with Third World countries. Since leaving office, President Clinton has been active running the Clinton Foundation, working on behalf of the poor, diseased and disenfranchised around the globe. Most recently, the ex-Prez was in Haiti addressing the death of 7,000 due to a cholera outbreak (theorized to have originated from UN Peacekeepers and spread by poor sanitation). Whether you think his legacy was benefited by a good time slot or that he carved out an era of memorable prosperity in the U.S., we all know about President Clinton’s gift for gab, and it’s a bit comforting to know that he’s putting his money where his mouth is — for a good cause.
