On Sunday, the Museum of Fine Arts hosts Senegal-born Pierre Thiam as part of its UNCHartED: Random Acts of Culture series. Thiam’s first restaurant, Brooklyn’s Yolele, is an acclaimed nouveau African bistro, and the chef, restaurateur and author lectures worldwide, having appeared on Iron Chef, CNN’s Inside Africa and NPR’s Splendid Table. He visits St. Pete to present a cooking demonstration and sign his cookbook, Yolele! Recipes from the Heart of Senegal. Admission includes three courses and a souvenir recipe card of the dishes prepared.
