See UT's Mainstage Theater Production of the classic American drama by William Inge. Visiting faculty member Kerry Glamsch directs the winner of the Pulitzer Prize in 1953, a story that captures the longings, uncertainties and unmet desires of small town America in the mid-20th Century, by way of a drifter who disrupts a town gathering. Glamsch says his production celebrates UT’s culturally diverse student population with a non-traditional casting approach that adds depth and resonance to an award-winning masterpiece. The scenic and lighting design is by Alex Amyot, with costume design provided by Frank Chavez.
