In celebration of the most anticipated holiday of the year, Halloween, Tampa Theatre is having a one-night-only showing of classic 1922 German Expressionist horror film Nosferatu. Based on Bram Stoker's Dracula, this film features a character named Thomas Hutter who is sent on to Transylvania on business to meet a "Count Orlok." It soon becomes clear that Orlok is actually Nosferatu. After making this discovery, Hutter flees only to once again come face-to-face later with Nosferatu, who has now has his eyes on Hutter's wife Ellen. This restored authorized version of Nosferatu is a silent film with live organ.
