Sea Monsters makes its world premiere through Labor Day 2013. Using the revolutionary polymer preservation technique commonly known as plastination to keep the creatures in tact, audiences get to explore the literal ins and outs of some of the most massive creatures of the deep, including a 6-foot-wide manta ray, a 15-foot-long mako shark, a giant squid, and an 18-foot-long and a 3,000 pound whale shark. Permanent exhibits include dinosaurs, a butterfly garden and a look at your life birth to death. Of course, the two mainstays are The IMAX Dome Theater and Saunders Planetarium.
