The sassy sequel to The MOMologues, MOMologues 2: Off to School is a comedy about motherhood during elementary school. Directed by Karla Hartley — a great mom herself — the play relates to mothers everywhere by portraying the comical fears and frustrations of parenting. On opening night, playwrights Sheila Eppolito, Stefanie Cloutier and Lisa Rafferty (pictured) will be attending the Southeast Premiere of the show on Fri., Jan. 31. Says Rafferty of the MOMologue plays: "We met many moons ago. ... We had our first kids at about the same time and started sharing writing about them when they were in kindergarten. Sheila's oldest and my oldest are now freshmen in college. We have eight kids between us. The stories in both MOM1 and MOM2 are mostly our stories, with some input from other moms."
