Judges sought for Jeff Norton Awards
Theatre Tampa Bay, an alliance of theatre companies in the area seeks to improve the Jeff Norton Awards by incorporating a panel of judges into the selection process. Unlike the previous two years, when theaters presented awards based on audience ballots, the 2012–13 season will move to a competitive model using a panel of 10 judges.
TTB is seeking individuals with a deep passion and knowledge of theater. This volunteer position requires time, consideration and dedication, but allows you to experience local productions throughout the year. All applications will be thoroughly vetted and reviewed by a selection committee composed of artistic directors from participating theaters and nine judges will join a local critic to create a ten-person panel.
