From September 3 through October 7, visit the Cobb Gallery at Eckerd College to witness an exhibit featuring art pieces from Eckerd's own Robert Hodgell, who passed away in 2000. The exhibit features election themed artwork in the mediums of print, drawing and painting. Robert Hodgell joined Florida Presbyterian College (Now Eckerd College) in 1960 as an Associate Professor in the Art Department and retired in 1977 to pursue art full-time. Inspiring both faculty and students with his intense passion for art, and his hour-long lectures on stage in which he would silently create a full work of art, he is now an Eckerd College Legacy.
