Hideaway Christmas Party with Swingset, Meyer Baron

Swingset is a new lounge-jazz quartet that features singer-songwriter Rebecca Zapen on sultry velvety lead vocals and occasional violin, with tight but easy-going instrumental backing by piano-man husband Jeremy Douglass, bassist Phil Magallanes and drummer Rich MacDonald. Meyer Baron warms up the stage with some classic movie tunes, starting at 6 p.m. Doors at 5 p.m.; the $20 ticket includes open access to the bar and a food spread offered from 5 to 7 p.m.
