Serving the community year-round, the Market provides fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as fresh bread, cheese, seafood, herbs, plants and flowers, cupcakes and pastries, hand-blended teas, nuts and granola, local honey, pet treats, hand-made soaps, local art, crafts, jewelry, healing lotions and oils. Live music will also be featured. The Fresh Market will remain open until 8 p.m. every first Tuesday, too. On Feb. 5 at 6:30 p.m., Chef Jill Johnson will offer a discussion of the quinoa grain, including information on its history, nutritive value, and preparation techniques. She will demonstrate the preparation of her own popular quinoa salad, offering samples and recipes. Other cooking demonstrations and events are planned for each “Twilight Tuesday” at the Fresh Market continuing through the season.
